Since 1946, FMCT has provided a range of performance and education opportunities to the Fargo-Moorhead-West Fargo area and surrounding communities. FMCT is the longest running community arts organization in the Red River Valley Region of Minnesota and North Dakota. Now entering our 74th season, our organization continues to evolve and grow in our community-minded mission as we position ourselves to create exceptional experiences for many more years to come.
  • Each year FMCT produces an average of ten productions per year, presenting adult to children’s theatre, reaching over 35,000 patrons per year.
  • FMCT creates an artistic community for local theatre artists, who volunteer for their love of theatre and of FMCT.
  • FMCT education programming reaches students of all ages with classes and camps.

Built by the Community

FMCT is a 501(c)(3) non-profit theatre, meaning that along with a board of community members, it is owned and supported by the community it serves.

Ticket sales, class registrations, and other earned income account for only a portion of our annual expenses. Thanks to contributions of supporters, like you, FMCT has grown in ways in which our founders could have only dreamed.
